No Cannes do – The ‘I am legend’ of advertising

What a great week to be an adman in New York, or London, or Singapore or…everyone else is in Cannes at the annual lovefest no doubt sipping cocktails with an extra drop of recession appropriate bitters.

Cannes is of course the least charming town in the south of France so the Adverising Festival, The Film Festival and MIP give the hotels and bars a welcomeopportiunity to extract eye-popping prices for food, drink and accomadation.

For those of us left behind this week maybe an opportunity to THINK. What a treat!
